But once the boy recovered, he stuck to Ji Xiting like glue. He came to the restaurant every day and always gazed at him with burning eyes.

Only later did Ji Xiting learn that this puppy-like boy who spent every day circling him

was none other than Xie Lin, the young God of War whose name shook the court and struck terror into his enemies.

That night, Xie Lin took off his armor and slipped into the kitchen, wrapping his arms around Ji Xiting from behind.
