Selene was a male insect born and raised on a trash planet. But since he had hatched there, he had no choice but to disguise himself as a sub-female and survive on his own.
He lived in the desert, occasionally going to the central city to buy supplies. Most of the time, he studied and scavenged for trash.
Just as he was about to awaken, he was kidnapped by an injured space pirate.
The male insect had, of course, done it on purpose. The space pirate looked strong and well-built, making him perfect as an assistant who could scavenge for him and save him a lot of time.
Shuo had accidentally been caught in a wormhole. After several unlucky jumps, he landed on a trash planet. His escape pod was completely smashed, and he was injured, so he could only kidnap a frail sub-female to help treat his wounds.
Things didn't quite go as he expected. Why was an S-rank female insect like him taking orders from a sub-female?
Shuo: "I'm not going again!"
This damned trash planet! His pride wouldn't let him go scavenging for that cold sub-female again. It was an insult to his very soul.
"You can leave."
Selene frowned slightly. His assistant kept losing control from time to time. What a nuisance. Maybe he should find a replacement.
Shuo got even angrier. What was with that attitude? The sub-female made it seem as if he were completely useless trash.
"If I leave, there won't be any insects to pick up all that junk for you!"
"I was planning to hire a sub-female..."
Selene trailed off, since the female insect seemed about to enter a frenzy.
"Go outside and go crazy." Just don't wreck my lab.
Shuo gave a cold snort, then charged into the trash heap and came back with a load of useful metal.
Could a sub-female be as useful as him? Could one carry such heavy junk? Could one identify so many rare metals?
Selene wasn't surprised by the female insect's behavior.
