The Madwoman Marries a Mute Wife [Period]

The village chief of Dou Shan Village has an only daughter, and she's crazy.

The crazy girl is tall and strong. She won't work in the fields or do chores, and spends every day wandering around the village, claiming everyone as family.

She goes from the village layabouts to the educated youths sent down to the countryside, and now she's trying to get into the cowshed where people are being sent for re-education.

Her mother is at her wits' end.

Then a new batch of educated youths arrives. The crazy girl takes a liking to one of them at first sight and keeps going up to her, calling her little sister.

The new educated youth is fair and beautiful, like a celestial maiden. She's the most striking person in all of Dou Shan Village.

Smiling, she shakes her head at the crazy girl, then traces the words across her palm, one stroke at a time: Not little sister, big sister.

The crazy girl blushes.

The crazy girl randomly claimed nineteen people as family.

The nineteenth became her big sister.

Later, her big sister became her wife.

The crazy girl obediently works during the day and obediently does her wife at night.

She thinks her wife can't speak, but her wife will help her live a good life.
