This apocalyptic novel is definitely among the best in my mind, with excellent quality! The protagonist is more like a traveler in the apocalypse than a traditional protagonist of a novel. Some people call him a "Madonna", but I think it's the opposite: he is never vague when he should be cruel. Rather than being a Madonna, it is better to say that he has his own ruler in his heart: when to act, when to let go, when to save someone, and when to give someone a hand. Each character in the book has its own story, and the images are vivid and three-dimensional. Don't be dissuaded by the first few chapters. Although the ending is satisfactory, it is still difficult to reconcile for me. All in all, it's a masterpiece in my opinion, and I highly recommend everyone to read it!
