When I read the title of the book, I didn't realize it at all. Those who have read Pirates and Mystery can check this one out. Those who haven't read Pirates can also give it a try. It will give it a sense of novelty. However, I haven't seen the plot of the original novel touched upon so far. It's mainly about the setting of serial potions. People who don't understand the first one can read it. I have a copy originally, I have it on my bookshelf, but I don't know if you can see it on my Cthulhu bookshelf. That one meets your requirements very well. The male protagonist is Azathoth, who is extracting nutrients from the world in various worlds and looking for the missing parts of himself.
