Journey to the West: A Nine-Story Pagoda from the Start, and I Snatch the Eighty-One Tribulations

[Journey to the West world] + [Sword cultivator] + [Nine-Story Pagoda] + [Demon King’s schemes] + [Snatching merit] Lin Yuan transmigrates into the world of Journey to the West, carrying a mysterious nine-story pagoda. On the first floor are a skeleton that has sat cross-legged for countless years and a broken sword. Only one sentence remains on the wall: “A sword may break, bones may crumble, but the sword heart can never be extinguished.” As the nine-story pagoda opens floor by floor, he discovers that it is far more terrifying than he ever imagined. The merit of heaven and earth in the world of Journey to the West can repair the pagoda. And Lin Yuan happens to know that, several hundred years from now, an enormous wave of merit will descend, sweeping across the Three Realms. Tang Sanzang travels west, the Eighty-One Tribulations, and Buddhism flourishes. All the gods and Buddhas in the heavens are waiting to claim a slice of the pie. Lin Yuan glances at the growing force of demon kings behind him and smiles. If we’re all going to put the tribulations in motion, why should only Lingshan get to arrange them?
