I Don't Want This High-Risk, Low-Value Family Anymore, and Neither Does My Daughter

Xie Zhilin was a risk assessor who insisted on applying his work habits to married life.

Every daily activity for me and our daughter had to be submitted to him for approval.

Only after he approved an application could money for the activity be transferred from the account.

If the risk was above ten percent, he rejected it.

If the value was below ninety percent, he rejected it too.

On Yueyue's birthday, I submitted an application to take her to an amusement park.

A minute after receiving it, Xie Zhilin replied:

"Rejected. The risk of injury is above ten percent."

I changed the rejected application to ask to take Yueyue to a restaurant and sent it again.

This time, he replied immediately:

"Rejected. The educational value is below ninety percent."

Seeing the hopeful look in Yueyue's eyes, I crouched down and patted her head.

"The application wasn't approved. How about Mom takes you to buy a cake instead?"

Yueyue's eyes immediately dimmed, but she still nodded with a well-behaved smile.

After I posted a photo of Yueyue holding her cake on my social media, Xie Zhilin's assistant, Jiang Rou, quickly posted something too.

"Whose boss is this amazing? He took me and my son out for a fancy meal and to the amusement park this weekend~"

In the photo, Xie Zhilin was holding Jiang Rou's son, and the three of them looked like a family of three.

I gripped my phone tightly. Before I had a chance to confront Xie Zhilin, he called me first.

"Why didn't you apply to buy Yueyue a cake? What bad habit are you trying to teach her now?"
