Siheyuan: You Force Me to Donate My House? I'll Sell It to the Factory Instead

Li Cheng transmigrates into the world of the 1960s drama Love in the Courtyard.

From the start, his parents are both dead, leaving him three spacious properties.

Just then, Jia Dongxu gets into a car accident and is left permanently disabled. The hypocritical Yi Zhonghai immediately calls a courtyard-wide meeting.

The whole courtyard's rabble gang up and use moral blackmail to force Li Cheng to donate his houses to the Jia family for free.

Yi Zhonghai: "You can't live in all those houses by yourself. Donate them all to the Jia family and do a good deed!"

Jia Zhangshi: "If you don't give us a house, this old woman will come make a scene at your place every day!"

Facing this pack of bloodsuckers, Li Cheng lets out a cold laugh, keeping his expression perfectly calm.

In secret, he takes the deeds and sells all three houses at a premium to the steel mill for use as workers' dormitories!

When the Jia family shows up, beaming and carrying their luggage, ready to force their way in, factory security guards drive them off at gunpoint.

When the courtyard rabble learn that the houses have been sold, they are stunned and completely lose it!

Li Cheng can't be bothered with them. He takes the money, moves out of the courtyard, and swoops in on Lou Xiao'e, who's on her way to a blind date.

With the financial support of his father-in-law, Lou Bancheng, Li Cheng settles into a quiet little courtyard and enjoys a laid-back life of tea drinking and fishing.

Years later, Li Cheng has children of both sexes, secretly builds a business empire, and becomes the richest man of his era.

Meanwhile, in that dilapidated courtyard, Silly Zhu is sucked dry and freezes to death under a bridge.

Qin Huairu watches Bang Geng sweeping the streets and Yi Zhonghai languishing in prison, and sinks into boundless despair!
