Immortal for Ten Thousand Years: My Online Collectors Are Looting My Home

Lin Du has lived for so long that even his memories have begun to blur. To recover them, he opens a shop in Panjiayuan and starts livestreaming antique appraisals on the side.

At first, things are fairly normal.

A treasure-hunting traveler connects: “Master, take a look at this bronze sacred tree I dug up deep in the mountains!”

Lin Du: “It’s fake. Back when I chopped down the Jianmu tree to roast meat, I carved it into a grill.”

Then one day, a tomb raider comes sprinting through an ancient tomb while livestreaming.

“Brother Lin, help! There’s a blood corpse in this tomb!”

Lin Du glances at the screen and sighs. “Hold your phone up to its ear.”

The next second, hundreds of thousands of viewers watch in shock as the ferocious thousand-year-old blood corpse drops to its knees before the camera and kowtows frantically!

The livestream explodes!

As he identifies more and more “historical relics,” including the mechanism plans for the Mausoleum of the First Emperor, the missing Imperial Seal, and mythical ferocious beasts, the whole internet goes into an uproar. A special government agency seals the files overnight, and the most powerful officials come to see him in person.

Lin Du spreads his hands helplessly. “I’m really not an immortal. I’ve just been around a long time and happened to bury a few little trinkets.”
