Handong: One Phone Call from the Start, and Sha Ruijin Falls Apart

Sha Ruijin arrives in Handong from above, determined to launch a sweeping overhaul and completely reshuffle the board.

"If there's something I, Sha Ruijin, want to do, there's nothing I can't get done!"

But just as he prepares to make Zhao Lichun his first target, a mysterious call from the Lin residence brings the entire game to an abrupt standstill.

At the other end of the line, Lin Zhiyuan says calmly, "Comrade Ruijin, you can't make a move in Handong. Have the people behind you come talk to me."

At that moment, Sha Ruijin loses it.

And he's not the only one. All of Handong goes mad.

Qi Tongwei is the sharpest blade in his hand, Li Dakang his most prized student, and Gao Yuliang greets him with the deference due to an elder.

He may be absent from the political arena, but the arena is full of legends about him.

He is the "master craftsman of a great power" who single-handedly built the industrial system of the Republic, and the only uncrowned king deep in Handong.

Before Lin Zhiyuan, so-called transfers of power are nothing but an insignificant experimental plot in his industrial empire.

"In Handong, I'll let you win only if I want you to win!"
