Are You Kidding Me? She Slacks Off on a Dating Show, and the Ice-Cold Empress Kneels

After retiring, Ye Xiu was set up by his former company and pushed onto the dating reality show "The Perfect Encounter". He planned to take the money and leave as a disposable extra.

The company’s demands: pretend to be poor, run your mouth, and lie flat to make the rich second-generation guests look good.

So while everyone else showed off their mansions, Ye Xiu dug for wild vegetables on the island. While they planned romantic dates, Ye Xiu lay flat and took an afternoon nap.

The haters across the internet raged: “A broke, lazy loser like this should get off the show!”

Yet Shen Ruobing, the aloof and proud empress of Beijing’s elite circle, completely lost control in front of the cameras.

Not only did she take the initiative to wash her hands and cook for Ye Xiu, she even cornered him in a blind spot, eyes red-rimmed:

“You smiled at that female guest today. How should I punish you?”

“Or... you could punish me like you used to.”

As the show went on, Ye Xiu’s casual bowl of noodles tossed in pork lard made a master chef who had cooked for state banquets crave them so badly he cried. A talisman he casually drew startled the Celestial Masters’ Mansion, and his god-tier medical skills had powerful elites around the world kneeling to beg for treatment.

Viewers everywhere: “We were promised a poor, disposable extra. He’s actually a max-level expert traveling incognito?”

Shen Ruobing clung tightly to Ye Xiu and refused to let go. “Whoever he is, he can only be mine for the rest of his life!”
