Sky Screen: From the Start, I Captured Chongzhen and Put Great Ming on Trial

In the seventeenth year of Chongzhen, the rebel army surrounds the capital, and the Ming Dynasty’s fate is sealed.

The court officials are bloated and rich, with ten thousand taels hidden in their homes, yet they refuse to part with a single coin. Instead, they try to make Chen Yang, a low-ranking soldier who has fought bloodily on the front lines, take the blame and serve as a sacrificial offering!

At the execution ground, the blade hangs overhead. Has the nation’s fate reached its end, with all hearts lost to despair?

No!

The Myriad Worlds Kindling System awakens! In the first month, three thousand red-armored death warriors, armed to the teeth and possessed of iron wills, descend upon the execution ground and smash the execution platform to pieces!

At the same time, the skies of every dynasty split open, and enormous screens blaze to life, broadcasting to every dimension by force!

Ying Zheng, Liu Che, Li Shimin, and Zhu Yuanzhang all look up, stunned across time and space!

Chongzhen is overjoyed, thinking divine soldiers have descended to save him. The court officials breathe a sigh of relief, believing they’ve saved their own skins.

But Chen Yang leads his troops straight through the gates of the Palace of Heavenly Purity, yanks Chongzhen down just as he’s preparing to hang himself on Coal Hill, and puts a blade to his throat.

“Zhou Kui claims he’s broke? Search his house! Dig 800,000 taels of silver out of his cellar!”

“The officials say they can’t pay the soldiers? Kill them! Their mansions hold enough grain to feed an army of 100,000 for three years!”

In front of emperors from every dynasty, Chen Yang distributes millions of taels of silver to the beggars and refugees in the city, raises a red flag, and proclaims to all under heaven:

“Today, I’m not here to save the emperor! I’m here to put the Ming Dynasty on trial!”

“To hell with the Son of Heaven! This land belongs to all the people!”

At that moment, every dynasty erupts.

Zhu Yuanzhang, eyes blazing red, draws his Embroidered Spring Saber and slays corrupt officials; Chen Sheng of Daze Village grips his spear, his blood surging.

But Chen Yang’s journey is only just beginning. Three thousand red-armored soldiers a month will add up to an iron tide of 360,000 in ten years! Starting at the end of the Ming, he will teach the people of every dynasty how to rise up and become masters of their own lives!
