The Top-Tier Star and His Ace Agent

Award-winning agent Kuang Lingling, known in the industry as “Boss Ling,” was thirty-one, of Hong Kong and Thai descent, and always strode through life at full speed. At the negotiating table, she could back anyone into a corner. She had guided three Best Actor winners and two Best Actress winners to the top, and executives at all three networks treated her with respect. This decisive powerhouse was, however, a pushover with her own talent. One glare from Orm made her back down; one little pout made her surrender. At two in the morning, Orm could order her to get up and cook instant noodles, even though Lingling was terrible at it.

Twenty-four-year-old Orm, of Chinese and Thai descent, came from a showbiz family. On the surface, she was a cheerful puppy everyone adored, always smiling at everyone she met. In truth, she’d gone crazy for Ling the moment they met. She remembered every word Ling said, every expression, every habit, and if she didn’t see her for three days, she’d go wait outside Ling’s home. The crew all teased her: “Did you put a tracker on Sister Ling?”

From falling for each other after bumping into one another in a hallway to declaring her love in public at an awards ceremony, this award-winning agent and top-tier star, seven years apart in age, wage a hilarious yet achingly sweet battle of love under the spotlight of Thailand’s entertainment industry.
