Ten Days to the End: The Mirror Maze

## A Deadly Puzzle of Memory and Obsession

Psychology PhD Kuang Lingling has been trapped in the “Mirror Labyrinth” for three years. It is a transitional space built from players' fragments of memory, and it resets every ten days. Calm and rational, she is the team's undisputed anchor, yet she has never been able to uncover the labyrinth's truth. Every time they get close to an exit, someone “disappears,” and in the real world, those people all fall into comas.

Three days before the thirteenth reset, a golden-haired girl fell from the sky and smashed through a plaza statue. Chen Aomu, 23, the young heiress of the Golden-Haired family, smiled like sunshine and talked so much people wanted to shut her up. She claimed to be the heir to the “Gatekeeper” family. She had come to find someone and, while she was at it, help Kuang Lingling escape.

The two formed a team and explored the labyrinth, discovering that every clue pointed to the same being: the “Mirror Master.” As the fragments of memory came together, the truth gradually emerged.

At the same time, Chen Aomu's real purpose was revealed: she needed to become the new Gatekeeper and remain in the labyrinth forever to repair the passage between reality and the game. From the very beginning, this seemingly cheerful girl had intended to sacrifice herself.

In the end, everyone's memories together kept the labyrinth running, and the exit opened. Kuang Lingling grabbed Chen Aomu, who wanted to stay behind, and delivered the book's firmest yet gentlest words: “You come out, or I go in. Pick one.”

Ten days end, and ten days begin again. This time, it isn't a trap. It's a beginning.
