Uncle Nine's First Disciple: Starting by Ridding Dongqing of Chiyou

Across from Convenience Store No. 444, a feng shui shop has opened.

Few people know that the one holding down the fort is Uncle Jiu of Maoshan, who was famous throughout the Republic of China era.

To suppress the ancient demon Chiyou inside Xia Dongqing once and for all, the Netherworld King A Cha grants Uncle Jiu’s sect a return to life by borrowing lifespans, sending them straight into the modern city.

From then on, the two powerhouse teams officially join forces.

On one side is the No. 444 Spirit Pendulum Squad:

Zhao Li, a ferryman who’s tough-talking but soft-hearted, saddled with a tragic destiny.

Xia Dongqing, an ordinary man with ghost-seeing eyes and a compassionate heart.

And Ya, the Nine Heavens Profound Maiden, who spends every day perched on the shelves, stuffing herself with snacks.

On the other side is the Maoshan team, transported across time.

The max-level Grand Celestial Master and protagonist, Gu Chang’an, who can cleave open the road between life and death with a single sword.

Uncle Jiu, who carries a thermos and complains about modern society every day.

And the lovable junior brothers Qiusheng and Wencai, who keep getting tricked out of their money and virtue by online ghost girlfriends in the modern world.

From then on, danger and hilarity begin in earnest!!!
