This Streamer Is in Real Trouble: I Appraise Treasures by Insulting Them, and Roast Every Fan

Shao Jing awakened the [Myriad Things Appraisal System]. Other antique appraisers made a living with their keen eyes; he gained followers with his sharp tongue.

A viewer brought in a "family heirloom blue-and-white porcelain vase." He said, "Your family's ancestral graves must have grown into a whole forest by now, huh?"

A viewer showed him a "Qin dynasty gold ring." He rolled his eyes. "The Qin dynasty had craftsmanship like this? The year your parents had you, lighters hadn't even been invented yet!"

A viewer cried and said the jade bracelet was his grandmother's keepsake. He replied, "Fake. Crying won't help. Next."

Thirty days after he started streaming, he'd roasted his way to five million followers, and the platform rushed to give him a gold-plated V5 badge.

Then one day, a viewer joined the stream and brought out a bronze Gui Fang axe from the late Xia or early Shang dynasty. Shao Jing's eyelid twitched. He tapped his calculator and said, "Nine million nine hundred thousand."

The livestream chat exploded: [Is that in ten-thousands?]

[How naive. The unit is days.]

"Three hundred sixty-five times five equals one thousand eight hundred twenty-five days.

There are three hundred sixty-five days in a year. Multiply by five, and that's how much this piece of junk is worth."

The viewer nearly fainted, the chat went wild, and the whole internet begged: "Brother Jing, roast me!"

From trash appraisal showcases to finding jade inside rough stones with golden eyes, from fake museum paintings to the Nine Gates Heavenly Game, this streamer appraises more than treasures: he appraises human nature.
