With an AK to My Head, I Hack Into Every Surveillance Camera in the City

"Today's prompt: You open your eyes and find yourself covered in blood, having just robbed a jewelry store."

Zhang Fei: ...Thanks a lot, show crew.

What's even more absurd is that three "robbers" rush in and all shout "Boss" at him, while thirty million people in the livestream watch his eyes quake in shock.

Zhang Fei had planned to lie flat and accept his fate, but a System suddenly pops into his head: [Acting Points +100. Unlocked skill: "The Ruthless Bandit's Stare".]

Seriously, acting has KPIs now?

So he sits down at the computer and frantically hacks the alarm system, then slaps an AK-47 on the table and scolds his underlings: "Throw away all the gold jewelry under ten grams! Stop picking through it like you're gathering beans!"

Comments: [Holy crap, where did he learn the lingo?] [Director, are you sure you hired an amateur?] [You should just send him to Today's Legal Report as a special guest!]

In the studio, criminal investigation captain Wang Ruiguo jumps to his feet and slams the table. "Those nerves, that counter-surveillance awareness, that skill at burning cars and destroying evidence... Investigate! Trace him all the way back to his ancestors' graves!"

As Zhang Fei melts gold bars in an abandoned factory, he sees a new System notification: [Host is being hunted by the entire city. Hidden mission triggered: "Extreme Escape".]

He turns to the three "underlings" trembling in fear and asks, "Is there a hardware store nearby?"

The underlings: ??? Boss, what are you planning now?

Zhang Fei weighs the melted gold bars in his hand and smiles innocently. "Of course I'm going to sell the stolen goods on the black market. What else? Ask the cops in for tea?"

The whole internet watches him charge into the black market alone and nitpick about the cigarettes in front of five burly men. Everyone falls silent.

Wang Ruiguo crushes his teacup in his hand. "If this is acting, I'll eat a pair of handcuffs on livestream!"
