Is Working Year-Round Illegal? But My Staff Are All Robots

Xiang Longquan transmigrates and starts out three million yuan in debt. His ex-girlfriend puts on a dramatic breakup, and his factory is so run-down even the rats flee overnight with their belongings.

Luckily, the System arrives and gives him ten multi-arm robots.

These hunks of metal don’t eat, drink, slack off, or demand better working conditions. They tighten screws five times faster than veteran Foxconn workers.

Xiang Longquan does the math: 500,000 yuan in electricity, zero labor costs, and a net profit of 2.3 million.

When his ex-girlfriend tearfully says, “I can share your hardships,” his production line has already finished making 100,000 units.

When she says, “You’ll always be in my heart,” he’s already holding three million in cash to buy the factory next door.

“Labor laws can control me, but can they control my robotic arms?”

[Reader advisory: The robots in this story have no rights, and the author does not endorse exploiting workers. If any of this sounds familiar, it just means you want robotic arms too.]
