Synopsis

No System, no rebirth, no cheat-powered stockpiling. Just a blazing supernatural ability awakened in the depths of despair, and the long road to rebuilding humanity, one step at a time through mountains of corpses and seas of blood. The apocalypse arrives, cities fall, and millions become its victims in an instant. In a dead-end alley with nowhere left to turn, ordinary man Gu Feng awakens the rare power of crimson flames, lighting the first ember in the darkness. From desperate survival at the very bottom to facing high-level mutant monsters and battling factions of survivors for control of their own territories. Every step is fought for, every step is a rise. A candle flame burns away the endless night, a firefly moon lights the depths of despair, and the rising sun breaks through the sky screen. While countless survivors are trapped in the hell of the ruins, fighting over scraps, Gu Feng takes up the torch of fire, gathers the kindhearted, builds fortresses, clears out zombie hordes, and brings an end to the chaos and conflict. In a chaotic age with nowhere to return to, I will rebuild the vast lands of humanity with my own hands. If no light from heaven can burn through the long night, then I will be the fire, illuminating the world with light for generations to come.

It's So Rare to Find an Apocalypse Novel Without Stockpiling Anymore

I’ve been browsing apocalypse novels lately, and they all seem to be about stockpiling supplies or romance. Are there any more male-oriented apocalypse stories with zombies and supernatural abilities, but no stockpiling? A female lead is optional. Ideally, the protagonist is reborn.
