A Directionless Journey of Cultivation, Going Wherever the Immortal Path Leads

A new author is getting started, and I’m all ears. I’ve been updating with ten thousand words a day lately, so feel free to show your support if you’re interested! I’ll also do my best to improve based on your feedback! A slice-of-life cultivation story with a slow start. Nan Li, an eighteen-year-old hardcore shut-in, somehow transmigrates to a cultivation world while using the toilet. When he opens his eyes, weeds over two meters tall block out the sky, and a green caterpillar as long as his arm is inching toward him. And to make matters worse, he hasn’t even pulled up his pants. After dodging the caterpillar, beating a tiger to death, and nearly getting himself killed through sheer stupidity, Nan Li is finally rescued by the flying boat of Qingyun Sect. But before he can get settled in the starter village, he’s dragged into an illusion trial that lasts more than a decade. Inside the illusion, he’s forced to dress as a woman, forced to cultivate demonic arts, forced to become the senior sister of the Hehuan Sect, and forced by a beautiful lunatic to swear he’ll destroy the entire sect. In the end, the illusion shatters. That beautiful lunatic gives her life to set him free. Nan Li wakes up: ??? What on earth did I just go through? From then on, Qingyun Sect has a strange new disciple. Others cultivate by taking pills; he cultivates by forging blades. Others enter secret realms for their treasures; he enters them to consecrate his newly forged swords. When people ask him why he never goes home, he says, “The road is beneath my feet, and my blade is in my hand. What would I go back for?”
