Reborn in the Apocalypse: I Took Over a Mountain

Lin Shen struggled to survive in the apocalypse for ten years, then starved to death.

He saw floods swallow cities, droughts crack the earth, and extreme cold freeze everything. He saw waves of zombies surge forward, mutated beasts tear people apart, and mutated plants devour the living. But these were never the most terrifying things. He saw neighbors trick friends into their homes and eat them, mothers sell their own children for a bag of rice, and warlords keep people penned up like livestock for meat.

The moment he was reborn, Lin Shen returned to sixty days before the apocalypse.

This time, he wouldn’t flee blindly. He took out loans like crazy, sold his company, stockpiled supplies, and recruited people, then built an apocalyptic fortress on Qingfeng Mountain. Walls, underground warehouses, a hospital, farmland, livestock, weapons: from a ship down to a needle, he would make this mountain the last pure haven in the apocalypse.

But there’s no shortage of enemies in the apocalypse. Zombie hordes, warlords, mutated beasts, and a technology company called Eternal, which seems to have known the apocalypse was coming and is conducting some kind of horrifying experiment on living people.

Lin Shen tightened his grip on his knife. In his previous life, he would rather starve than eat human flesh. In this life, he’ll show everyone that even among people more terrifying than zombies, some still hold to their principles and stand tall as they fight to survive.
