Wandering the Realm of Sin

As crime erupts in city after city, a series of horrifying cases based on real events push criminal investigation to its limits and challenge the very bottom line of human nature. A special investigations team of four elite officers is called into action. Their work takes them across China's provinces and cities, from the fog-shrouded mountain city of Chongqing to the steel mills and mines of Henan, from the glittering old dreams of Shanghai to the bitterly cold snowfields of the Northeast. Following every clue, they delve into one crime scene after another.

Gradually, however, they discover that behind these seemingly unrelated cases lurks a secret organization called the Seven Sins Totem. Like a mentor in the dark, the group incites and links crimes together, magnifying the darkness deep within human nature. The special investigations team must not only outwit and confront the criminals before them, but also uncover the mystery of this vast shadow and stop an ultimate criminal experiment from sweeping the nation.

This is not only a clash between justice and evil, but an epic tale of humanity, redemption, and the dignity of the law. As they move from one criminal domain to another, they seek not only the truth, but also the light within people's hearts.
