Selling the Monkey King a Dream, Outdoing the Competition, and Becoming the Demon King's Dad

On the surface, I’m the laziest little demon in Shituo Ridge. My catchphrase is: “Sure, whatever, I don’t mind.”

In reality, I’m a top-tier programmer with razor-sharp logic who considers “996” the enemy.

When the Demon King asks me to write a Feasibility Report on Capturing Tang Sanzang:

On the surface: “Your Majesty, the risks are too high. I recommend we call it off.”

In my head: [Finished profiling the user (Tang Sanzang), analyzing the competition (the other demons), assessing the risks (the guardian deities), and slipping in a hidden disclaimer. Blame successfully shifted.]

When the AI heroine, the “Cleaner,” puts me through a logic audit:

On the surface: “Fairy, please understand. Everything I do is to help the Demon King meet his KPIs.”

In my head: [Backdoor detected. Tracing it now, preparing to breach your firewall.]

When the gods and Buddhas of the Three Realms rage over my strike and demand to know what I want:

On the surface: “I don’t want anything. I just want everyone to be happy.”

In my head: [I’ve already downloaded your fate scripts and found the server vulnerabilities. Ready for a new version without the programmer of the Heavenly Dao?]

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to destroy anything.

I just can’t stand seeing bugs all over the world.
