Siheyuan: Silly Zhu’s Pot Can Stew Ghosts

One pot holds a universe, one ladle decides yin and yang.

He Yuzhu is a cook at a steel mill, nicknamed Silly Zhu, yet he wields an ancestral iron pot that can stew ghosts.

Ghosts tossed into the pot become nourishing spirit dishes. The living gain strength by eating them, while ghosts find peace.

He thought he was just scraping by on the underworld's cooking, but this skill of stewing ghosts unexpectedly became the fulcrum that could set both the world of yin and the world of yang in motion.

Evil cultivators covet the pot and want to seize it to refine their arts. Underworld officials distrust him, fearing he will disrupt the order. Foreigners watch from the sidelines, hoping to unravel its secrets. Even the neighbors in his compound have their own designs.

Silly Zhu grins and hefts his giant ladle.

You think you can take me on? Whether you're a century-old vengeful ghost, a thousand-year-old demon, or a schemer with a head full of plots, once you're in my pot, even dragons have to coil up and tigers have to lie down.

When the heat is right, your true form will come out, and you'll have no choice but to admit defeat.

See how a “foolish” cook uses his pot as a shield and his ladle as a sword, stewing up a peaceful world, cooking order into yin and yang, and bringing together a banquet of earthly delicacies passed down for a thousand years.

The Great Way is simple, the finest flavors are found in the kitchen, and the deepest truths are right here in the bustle and warmth of everyday life.
