The Prison Doctor

The Prisoner Doctor

Han Suxin spent three years as a prosecutor, personally putting enough criminals behind bars to circle Xichuan City twice.

Then, in the morgue, she encountered Liang Yin, a madman whose entire family had been slaughtered. He was holding a knife over a corpse and saying, “How many is this now? Let me count.”

Later, Liang Yin was sent to a psychiatric hospital, and Han Suxin thought she would never see him again.

Three years later, a string of murders in Xichuan City was solved, and reporters asked what had been key to cracking the case.

Han Suxin glanced at the handcuffed man beside her. “I have this ‘patient’ to thank for going undercover.”

Liang Yin grinned. “Prosecutor, next time we work together, remember not to shove me into the fire.”

Off to the side, Luo Lie silently pulled out a third pair of handcuffs. “Before you two catch up, perhaps you could explain what happened to that corpse?”

Han Suxin and Liang Yin: ...

A prosecutor who specializes in putting people away, a madman who’s just been released, and a doctor who’s always cleaning up their messes. This team knows just how to handle anyone who refuses to cooperate.
