Hilarious Ghost Hunting: I Silence Ghosts with Jokes

Graduating straight into unemployment, Qian Le gets kicked by his own mother into taking a security job at a supposedly haunted apartment complex on the outskirts of town. On his first day, the elderly property manager warns him repeatedly: “Stay away from Building Three after midnight. If you hear someone call your name, don’t look back. And if you see a ghost, don’t talk to it!” Qian Le thumps his chest. “Relax, I’m scared of nothing!” At midnight, a woman in white floats in front of him and says in a chilling voice, “Handsome, I’m so cold...” Qian Le fires back with a joke: “Sis, floating in the middle of the road dressed all in white is a real traffic hazard!” The ghost: “...” From then on, the ghosts of Peaceful Gardens are completely traumatized. A hanging ghost comes to claim his life, but Qian Le’s awful jokes leave it too frozen to fight back. A red-clad vengeful spirit tries to scare him, but he roasts it into a full-blown breakdown. Even when the Ghost King himself shows up, Qian Le keeps him chatting all night, and the king even gives him a thumbs-up before leaving. Qian Le: “Don’t get me wrong. I’m not a ghost hunter. I’m a stand-up comic, and I deal with all kinds of troublemakers.” The ghosts: “Please stop telling jokes! We’ll move out, okay?!”
