After We Perished Together, My Wicked Stepmother Became My Foot-Washing Maid

My wicked legal mother and I have hated each other for years.

She despised my low birth and forced me to sign a death contract, making me a slave for generations to come.

So I promptly covered her favorite gold and silver treasures in manure.

She thought I was an eyesore and resented me for stealing the spotlight, so she deliberately pushed me into a pond, trying to kill me.

I immediately made her secret affair with another man public, ruining her reputation.

To get rid of me, her thorn in the side, she framed me for seducing a prince and tried to have me beaten to death.

I went all in and exposed conclusive evidence of her family's rebellion the very next day.

In the end, her entire family was executed, and even their extended clan was implicated.

Just as we were being led to the execution ground, eighteen bolts of lightning struck us until we were charred on the outside and tender within.

When I woke up, I saw myself dressed in an empress's robes.

And she had become the lowest-ranking palace maid in my palace!

Thank goodness the heavens have opened their eyes. In this life, I'll make sure she doesn't get away with it.
