A Book Transmigrator Caught the Regent Princess in the Act?

A strange woman who claimed to be the heroine showed up in the palace.

On her first day, she reported that the feng shui around the ornamental koi pond in the imperial garden was bad, and said a consort would use a fish to pass a secret message.

On the second day, she suggested replacing all the young, handsome guards, insisting they would be the start of ill-fated romances.

On the third day, she started targeting the imperial kitchens, saying we had to guard against food-combining sorcery.

The emperor found it amusing and went along with everything she suggested.

Then one day, she ran into me outside the Hall of Political Affairs, just as I was speaking quietly with the great general who had returned from the border.

She was instantly overjoyed. She had people surround us, then ran off to fetch the emperor.

"Having a private meeting with a man who isn't your husband in broad daylight! This is a grave crime that brings disgrace upon the palace!"

"I've finally caught them red-handed! My reward for helping the emperor claim the throne is within reach!"

Half a cup of tea later, Emperor Zhao Jing hurried over.

He parted the crowd and bowed to me.

"Your nephew pays his respects to his imperial aunt."

I had only just turned twenty. It was no wonder she'd mistaken me for someone else, but I had no intention of letting her off lightly.

"Your Majesty, she says I've been having an affair with a court official. According to the law, what punishment does that merit?"
