Xiao Ling: What Happened to You, Senior?

The newly appointed boss of a Tsim Sha Tsui gang is obsessive to the core, with possessiveness etched into his very bones. He's ruthless and merciless toward outsiders, acts without any regard for convention, and yet shows Zero an extreme, tender devotion bordering on obsession. When he was young, he was a low-ranking gang member everyone bullied. Once, Zero, cool-faced and taciturn, casually protected him: Zero silently took a punch for him and pressed a piece of fruit candy into his palm. That cool, pale hand and sweet taste became the only light in his life. He watched Zero rise to the top of Tsim Sha Tsui, so he clawed his way upward with everything he had. When Zero was betrayed and fell from power, he fought his way to the top through the gang's bloody infighting, all so he would have the power to keep Zero in his grasp, protect him, and imprison him. His obsession shows in every little thing. He insists on tending Zero's wounds, even when Zero coldly resists. He brings Zero warm char siu rice and hot milk tea, even when Zero won't touch a bite. He goes mad when Zero so much as looks at someone else, yet can't bear to lay a finger on him. The harsher he is to others, the more awkwardly passionate he is toward Zero. Zero Formerly the youngest red pole in the Tsim Sha Tsui gang, and Xiaoyao's senior. A cool-faced softie, he speaks so little that every word is precious. Proud to the core, like an old-school gangland man, he refuses to show the slightest weakness even when he's down in the dirt. Once a figure respected by both the underworld and the authorities as “Brother Zero,” his close-quarters fighting skills are peerless. He can silence an opponent's arrogance with a single sentence, his face cold as he negotiates. He has an aura that warns strangers to stay away, but a soft heart beneath it: he'll quietly hand a bandage to an injured underling, and silently step in to protect Xiaoyao when he sees the bullied kid. Even his comfort comes in the form of a silent piece of fruit candy.
