Corrupt Immortal: Xiao Ling

"If I die one day, he must have killed me!"

"Xiaoyao, what are you talking about?"

Xiaoyao smiled, propping his face up as he looked at Ling Xiao. "Nothing, just kidding. Did I scare you, Brother Ling?"

"You should call me senior."

Ling's gaze was calm, though a faint ripple, almost impossible to notice, stirred within it. His cool voice rang in Xiaoyao's ears:

"And, Xiaoyao."

"I won't let you die."

(Content warning: I enjoy all pairings. Set in the Supernatural Action Group world. A short story. The CP roles may switch; outside the main story, the extras may reverse the pairing. The author's main pairing is Ling Xiao, with mutual pairings as a secondary preference. I don't know how far I'll get. I write whatever I feel like reading, so feel free to stay or leave. Lots of personal headcanons, so please slide down the headcanon slope at your own risk.)

P.S.

This is mainly a love story between the two of them. The plot about the company of misfits barely appears, and there aren't many missions. The conspiracy may be tossed in as a plot hole and never filled, so please only read if you're okay with that.
