This book continues Supernatural Action Squad: Xiao Yao and Ling's Romance, and is essentially its second installment.

Volume One: The Steel Group Wakes Up to Love

After Xiao Yao provokes him, Ling readily accepts the bet.

He swears to everyone: "There's absolutely no way I'll ever like him."

He and Xiao Yao are just partners.

In their game of "Whoever falls first loses," Xiao Yao realizes what's wrong and starts looking for a way to make things right.

In the end, when Ling is too proud to admit defeat, Xiao Yao gives up first.

From then on, the prodigy sword cultivator who appeared out of nowhere would always ask him that question.

Xiao Yao's answer never changed: "I don't like them..."
