The battleship's intelligent core, Zero, commands technology far beyond that of human civilization. From then on, a logistics soldier who should have remained unknown pilots the shabbiest training mech, yet pulls off the most unbelievable maneuvers. He modifies mechs, cracks military encryption, and predicts the course of battles... When the Zerg swarm descends once more, blotting out the sky, everyone falls into despair.
