Until an assassination attempt forces him into a life-sharing contract with a world-destroying demon emperor who has been sealed away for a thousand years. In court, he plays the part of a docile good-for-nothing, while in secret, he joins forces with the violent voice in his mind to stir up trouble. He plans to use this world-ending villain as his trump card for survival, but without realizing when it happens, they begin to share their senses, emotions, and fate. As a war between humanity’s purge and the demons’ revenge looms over the dynasty, these “brothers,” who go from loathing each other to standing together through life and death, will use the sharpest political schemes to carve out an entirely new path to survival for this world.
