Otherworld Bistro: The Grind Begins in the Heart

Lin Xiu, a five-star chef who has lost her sense of taste, returns to her hometown to inherit her grandfather's failing Lin Family Eatery, only to unexpectedly transmigrate to another world where culinary arts have been lost and food is merely a source of energy. Here, armed with her family's ancestral cookbook, A Record of Food from Mountains and Rivers, she uses Chinese cuisine infused with heartfelt care to heal hidden injuries, resolve old grudges, and search for a way home. Bound by family ties in both worlds, she follows the path of the culinary arts, protects those she loves, and introduces another world to the shock and warmth of Chinese cuisine for the very first time.
