The Abandoned Disciple's Medicine and Poison: Ruling the Martial World with a Turn of the Hand

At the execution platform on Mount Hua, Shen Yanci is publicly stripped of his powers by his revered master, Daoist Xuanyuan, branded a traitor for colluding with the enemy, and expelled from the sect. His childhood sweetheart, Liu Qingyuan, watches coldly, while his senior brother, Ling Zhaoting, kicks him when he is down. Covered in blood, Shen is left with only half of his bloodstained ancestral jade pendant. On the brink of death, the pendant grows hot, awakening the legacy of the Qing Nang Poison Canon, left by a medical and poison sage from a century ago. His damaged meridians are instantly restored, and he masters bone-mending medicine and an inescapable art of poison, finding new life in the depths of despair.

While fleeing, he encounters Su Wanli, young mistress of Listening Rain Tower, who is being hunted by the Netherworld Sect. From wary suspicion to entrusting their lives to each other, they become allies. To uncover the truth behind his family's slaughter and avenge the humiliation he suffered, Shen Yanci carefully advances with his secret medical and poison manuals in hand: he wins hearts with his medical skills, punishes the wicked with poison, face-slaps his hypocritical former sect, tears apart the Netherworld Sect's schemes, and unexpectedly finds his younger sister, Shen Qingyue, who has been controlled by a parasite poison.

As the investigation deepens, a shocking conspiracy gradually comes to light: Daoist Xuanyuan is in league with the Netherworld Sect, while foreign cavalry lie in wait. Shen realizes that he has long been at the center of the game. With a blood feud on one side and the safety of the people on the other, will the “poisonous sword” hidden in his medicine chest strike down his enemies or protect the land?

From a disciple stripped of his powers to a master of medicine and poison, from personal vengeance to protecting his homeland, Shen Yanci wields gold needles as blades and toxic mist as a shield. Together with a host of allies, he unleashes a storm that overturns the martial world and ultimately becomes a legend who can reshape it with a single hand.
