A Misaligned Marriage Contract: A Design Genius Meets a Fear-of-Marriage Heiress

Su Nuo, a career-driven woman terrified of marriage, finds herself caught in an unbelievable scam at an elaborately staged proposal. As she flees in a panic, an expensive engagement ring accidentally ends up in the hands of Gu Yu, a divorced single father and genius toy designer. From that moment on, the wheels of fate begin turning out of alignment. One is an icy, accomplished woman desperate to escape the pressure to marry, who sees matrimony as a terrifying beast. The other is a warm, mature man burdened by painful memories and worn out from dealing with his rebellious daughter. Starting with a misunderstanding at a café, workplace clashes, family entanglements, an ex-boyfriend who won’t let go, a rebellious daughter, and a vast gulf between their families keep pushing them to opposite sides. Yet every collision sparks an unexpected chemistry. When a woman who fears marriage meets a doting dad, when business interests clash with creative ideals, and when misunderstandings pile up only to be unraveled one by one, can they break free from the shackles of reality and find the “out-of-sync” love meant for them? This is a modern-day fairy tale about love, responsibility, growth, and choice.
