A Chance Heartbeat: From Rivals to Forever

Lin Wan, a hotel manager, is constantly pressured by her mother to go on blind dates. But at her very first one, she clashes with Chen Mo, a civil affairs bureau employee, over a parking spot. She longs for sincere love, while he fears marriage after seeing one divorce case after another. Though they seem completely at odds, fate keeps bringing them together: they are forced to co-host a show, deal with eccentric exes, and help each other navigate family conflicts. From trading barbs to falling head over heels, they gradually discover the meaning of marriage amid the chaos of everyday life: it isn't about being a perfect match, but about being willing to lower your guard for each other and turn “me” into “we.” When a man afraid of marriage meets a woman eager to marry, and a domineering mother clashes with a formidable mother-in-law, this tug-of-war over love and growth ultimately teaches them that the best kind of fate is finding your way back to the one who was right for you all along.
