My Side Job Is Judge of the Underworld, My Main Job Is Neighborhood Security

By day, I’m Lu Renjia, a residential compound security guard who settles disputes and helps people find their cats. By night, I’m an apprentice judge in the Underworld, using a phone app to scan residents’ treasures and karmic ties. Then the beautiful CEO Su Li moves in, and my phone starts blaring nonstop. She’s not only carrying a staggering karmic debt, she’s also the “old rival” I wrongfully judged five hundred years ago. Now family conspiracies and Underworld assassins are closing in. To protect her, and make up for my past professional mistake, I have to use one hand to appraise treasures and spot valuable finds to earn merit, while calling on the hidden “divine teammates” in the compound with the other, including Zhong Kui and a distributor for Meng Po. Amid the daily chaos, we fight a spectacular battle to defend the gods in the modern city.
