Startrail Lingye: Riftwalker

Ling Ye, a former detective, received a black invitation. The price of refusing was her neighbor's erasure by an uncanny force. Forced into Infinite Flow space-time instances, she faces a vengeful spirit's maze in an old mansion, the desperate siege of a city overrun by zombies, the eerie mystery of an interstellar rift, and more. Every instance is a deadly case. She survives against the odds with her special ability, “Memory Rewind,” and assembles a team of a medical student, an elite soldier, and a hacker. As they solve the mysteries in each instance, she stumbles upon a shocking truth: the space-time hub is an experiment by an ancient civilization that spiraled out of control, and the Shadowkin, corrupted by darkness, are using the rifts to devour reality and parallel universes. From Earth's instances to the Starfall Starfield, from solving mysterious cases to wielding the laws of the star paths, Ling Ye draws on a female detective's meticulousness and a strong woman's resolve to untangle the truth in a universe on the brink of collapse and piece together a road home that can protect all life.
