Biologist Lin Mo sets out to find his missing younger sister, joining forces with Zhao Qian, a disillusioned criminal detective, to investigate the eerie ancient town of Zexu. There, they accidentally uncover the mystery of the “Tai Sui,” a higher-dimensional life form. To prevent disaster, Lin Mo is forced to coexist with the Tai Sui consciousness, struggling on the line between humanity and mutation. This battle of “symbiosis and erosion” spreads from the isolated ancient town to the modern city, eventually breaking through the boundaries of dimensions and raising an ultimate question concerning the survival of multiple civilizations: As the shadow of higher-dimensional collapse looms and the balance between chaos and order teeters on the brink, can humans and the inhuman find a way to coexist across dimensions through understanding and compromise?
