Siheyuan: It All Began with a Devil Fruit

From the start, it's 1959. Zhao Changan, who grew up in the countryside, inherits his uncle's job and moves to the capital, only to be locked in his room and starved to death by the courtyard's schemers, led by Yi Zhonghai. Just as they're about to divide up his job and pension, Zhao Changan, a cunning man from the 21st century, transmigrates into his body and activates the Devil Fruit Ability System. He eats the Munch-Munch Fruit, which turns everything into food, and tricks the schemers into eating crap. He eats the Chop-Chop Fruit, and his head flies all over the place, terrifying the schemers into dropping dead on the spot. He eats the Door-Door Fruit, letting him travel anywhere in the world with ease, and heads straight to Japan for a free shopping spree. He eats the Clear-Clear Fruit... While the schemers spend every day wishing they were dead, Zhao Changan starts out as a procurement officer and steadily rises through the ranks, eventually becoming a strategic-level weapon for the nation and helping it rise to power at breakneck speed.
