I Run a Cafeteria in the Classic of Mountains and Seas

After transmigrating into the world of cultivation, Jiang Chen awakened the most good-for-nothing “God of Cooking” System. While others practiced swordplay, he chopped vegetables; while others pursued enlightenment, he flipped his wok. Even his life-bound treasure was a huge black pot. His fellow disciples mocked him for throwing his life away, until one day the sect’s guardian beast, Taotie, went berserk, destroying mountains and diverting rivers. The whole sect was powerless to stop it. Jiang Chen quietly set up his pot and stewed a pot of “Supreme Red-Braised Pork” so fragrant its aroma wafted for miles. In the next instant, the world-destroying beast cowered at his feet, drooling and wagging its tail like crazy. From then on, his dining hall became the most feared and coveted forbidden ground in the Three Realms. The hot-tempered Bi Fang volunteered to be the stove, while the Nine-Tailed Fox fought for the chance to serve dishes. When the Demon Venerable, bent on destroying the world, arrived in a tide of demonic energy, Jiang Chen walked out of the kitchen with his spatula in hand and frowned. “We’re closed. But... you look like you’d go great with rice.”
