The Time Cage and the Bronze Beacon

Lin Xv, a top archaeologist, discovers an artifact that absolutely does not belong to the era while excavating an unconventional Tang dynasty tomb: a fragment of bronze engraved with an emblem from the future.

At the same time, his life is trapped in a bizarre loop. Every morning, he wakes in the archaeological team’s tent, with the date forever fixed on the first day of the project.

Within this endlessly repeating twenty-four hours, he draws on his growing knowledge of the Tang dynasty to uncover the true cause of the tomb owner Li Zhifei’s death. Each time he gets closer to the truth, he triggers an even more terrifying time paradox: murals that come to life, an altered epitaph, and the shadow of a “Restorer” flickering in and out of time and space.

He eventually discovers that he did not stumble into this by accident. This ancient tomb was built as a time prison for him. Li Zhifei’s final message to him is just one sentence:

“Either stay here to guard this place, becoming a new anchor in history, or tear time and space apart and see who is moving the pieces beyond the prison.”
