The Fleet That Slept for Centuries

On a future Earth plagued by resource depletion and a rigid class system, Gu Chuanze, a young man from the bottom rung struggling to survive, unexpectedly inherits a super interstellar fleet from humanity’s golden age, dormant for several centuries. While others are still rushing around for jobs that barely keep them fed, Gu Chuanze has already quietly gained enough power to upend the world. Using technology far ahead of its time, he starts by solving his own problems, then steadily builds a business empire and changes the world’s balance of power. Faced with the covetous eyes of the major financial conglomerates, the suspicions of the Earth Federation, and unknown threats lurking in the depths of the universe, Gu Chuanze remains completely unruffled. “Don’t get me wrong,” he always says with a helpless look to those left utterly stunned. “I really am just an ordinary person. I’ve just been a tiny bit lucky.” And that tiny bit of luck is an absolute power that makes the entire universe tremble.
