Foraging in the Garbage Mounds All Day

In Xinhai, a futuristic city where social classes are rigidly entrenched, scavenger Lin Yuanfan spends his days digging through mountains of trash for food to pay for his younger sister’s medical treatment. One day, an accident leads him to discover a mysterious energy core. When he combines it with his battered scavenger mech, Black Hole, a miracle happens. The old mech not only repairs itself, but also reveals the terrifying ability to devour metal and evolve on its own. From rogue drones in abandoned factories, to gangsters in the lower city, to the underground mech league that the upper class regards as a “gladiatorial arena,” Lin Yuanfan pilots the ever-evolving Black Hole and rises from the very bottom of society, smashing through the barriers between classes at every step. In the end, he uncovers the world-shaking secret behind the world and the mysterious core. His journey is a saga of steel and fire, and the epic rise of an ordinary man from the lowest rung of society.
