The Eclipsed Brothers

Synopsis of Brothers in Corruption Five years after the Red Mist Cataclysm, seventy percent of humanity has become bloodthirsty Corruptors. On the wasteland, survival is the only rule. Lin Ye, a veterinarian who remains devoted to respecting all life, wanders alone through the ruins. But in a desperate moment, he encounters Hui, a special evolved Corruptor. This “outcast,” who has retained the reason and memories of an architectural engineer, becomes his companion across species. A temporary deal, exchanging a nutrient supplement for protection, eventually becomes a brotherly bond in which they entrust each other with their lives. Lin Ye uses his veterinary knowledge to plan their survival and keep Hui’s mind stable, while Hui relies on his extraordinary physical abilities and engineering skills to fend off danger. Together, they take in a pair of orphaned siblings, befriend righteous allies, and face down a dictator who believes in “human supremacy” and a Mother Nest Corruptor that devours everything. From the ruins to the Arctic ice fields, from the truth behind an ancient civilization’s purge to the ultimate choice of whether species can coexist, the two break down barriers amid flashing blades and clashing weapons. This is a survival epic set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and a hymn to brotherhood that transcends blood ties. When the faint light of humanity pierces the gloom of the Cataclysm, the power of their bond will rewrite the fate of civilization.
