My Immediate Boss Is My Ex, the One Who Got Away

Three years ago, Su Xiaoxing thought of Lu Zhi as the light fate had destined for her. She loved him with all her heart, giving everything she had, only for him to abruptly end things with a simple “We're not right for each other” just when they were discussing marriage. She never even got an explanation. Heartbroken, she left for another city and swore off love, focusing all her energy on making money and building her career. Seeing his former girlfriend, who has shed her youthful innocence and become confident and formidable, Lu Zhi is swept away by regret beneath his cold facade. He begins his “says one thing, does another” pursuit: bringing her breakfast, fending off admirers, helping her solve work problems, and even making excuses to keep her company when she works overtime. Su Xiaoxing insists, “Stay away from me. I just want to make money,”
