The Socially Anxious Designer Is Being Driven Crazy by Their Flashy Partner!

Lin Nuonuo is a socially anxious designer who has “blending into the background” coded into her DNA. Though exceptionally talented, she is terrified of socializing. After joining Xingtu Creative, all she wants is to draw in peace and avoid interacting with anyone. But on her very first day, she runs into the company’s most conspicuous social butterfly, Gu Xingci, the sales department’s top performer. He is passionate and outgoing, can befriend a stranger in three minutes, and has a social-butterfly aura that makes him the center of attention wherever he goes. What makes Lin Nuonuo even more desperate is that the company forces them to become a “dream team” and handle the summer product launch for major client Mixing Ice City. One wants to hide, the other wants to pull her along; one is afraid to speak, while the other can’t stop talking. From last-minute client changes and torturous team-building events to workplace sabotage and finally winning a major account together, the socially anxious designer is forced out of her comfort zone under her conspicuous partner’s “forced carry,” gradually learning to face social situations. Meanwhile, the seemingly carefree social butterfly learns to listen and take a step back through working with Lin Nuonuo. Amid the chaotic ups and downs of everyday office life, they go from “tormenting” each other to working together in perfect harmony. They not only handle a difficult client and a complicated project, but also quietly develop feelings for each other. In the end, they become better versions of themselves and find a workplace romance that is just the right amount of sweet.
