Top-Tier Star: My Socially Anxious Girlfriend Can't Stay Hidden

Su Xiaoxing is a socially anxious illustrator who has “socializing equals public execution” etched into her DNA. Her extraordinary artistic talent has won her a million online followers, but in real life, she rehearses what to say three times before ordering takeout. Gu Shiyan is the entertainment industry’s undisputed top-tier star, blessed with both good looks and acting chops, and adored by fans young and old. But after an accident, Su Xiaoxing “rescues” him and takes him home. He’s in a sorry state after fleeing sasaeng fans, while all Su Xiaoxing wants is to feed the handsome stranger at her door, whom she considers a “stray cat of unusual size.” One is so afraid of people he wants to vanish on the spot; the other is worshipped by millions but longs for a little peace and quiet. Their cohabitation, which begins with a misunderstanding, forces the socially anxious girl to start her “Actor Care Manual,” while the top-tier star unlocks his “Social Anxiety Rescue Plan.” As Su Xiaoxing’s secret identity is gradually exposed and Gu Shiyan’s secrets come to light, can the two overcome prejudice and protect their own little slice of happiness in a noisy world? This is a story of “a socially anxious girl meets a top-tier star, and awkwardness turns into sweet romance,” guaranteed to cure social discomfort. It’s sweet without being cringey, funny enough to bring tears, and heartwarming too.
