The Top-Tier Star's Unexpected Assistant

Lin Xiaoxing is a fresh graduate with such a “sparse” resume that she can only scrape by doing odd jobs. Her biggest dream is to “earn enough to eat and avoid starving to death,” but by a twist of fate, she becomes the temporary assistant to top-tier star Gu Yanchen. Gu Yanchen is the entertainment industry's “aloof, chaste-type ceiling”: his skill at putting people in their place is maxed out, his OCD is severe, and he's absurdly incapable of looking after himself. The only thing he truly cares about is acting, which he pursues with absolute dedication. One is a “freelance worker” willing to take on any job, while the other is an “emperor-level star” who needs to be waited on hand and foot. During their contract-bound days, chaos and flirtatious tension go hand in hand. With her “deal with whatever comes” resilience, Lin Xiaoxing repeatedly handles Gu Yanchen's “troublemaking” and the entertainment industry's open and hidden attacks. As they spend time together, Gu Yanchen's defenses are broken by this girl who never does things by the book. When a “freelance assistant” meets a “top-tier star,” a battle for workplace survival turns into a sweet romance where both fall for each other. Amid their chaotic partnership, they grow together and eventually become exactly what the other needs most.
